The WSO is presenting a gourmet journey of fine food and symphony music in partnership with Bergmann’s on Lombard all in one location at the Centennial Concert Hall.
Each meal is themed to a specific WSO concert – thereby offering patrons a unique opportunity to explore cuisine from around the globe.
Doors – 5:00 pm
Dinner – 5:30 pm
Concert – 8:00 pm
Prices:
$85 per person for each evening (includes a meal and a ticket to the concert for Section 4 seating)
$60 per person for those who already have a ticket to the concert
October 29 – All Shostakovich
The WSO is honoured to present an all-Shostakovich program conducted by the composer’s son Maxim Shostakovich, a pre-eminent conductor of his father’s music. Multi-faceted, deeply spiritual yet brilliantly virtuosic and immediately accessible for the listener, we are proud to also showcase Shostakovich’s Violin Concerto No. 1 performed by Korbinian Altenberger.
