The English Touch
SATURDAY, DECEMBER 11 · 8:00 PM · SUNDAY, DECEMBER 12 · 2:00 PM
English music came alive with its greatest 17th century composer Henry Purcell. Other English composers followed, leading to London residencies of Handel and Johann Christian Bach, the `London Bach’ as he came to be known. We explore and celebrate England’s rich musical life of the time, in the company of the WSO Chamber Players.
