Judy & David’s Symphonic Adventure

We consider Judy & David among the very best this genre has to offer
—Billboard Magazine

Someone has stolen David’s magic conductor’s baton! It must have been the criminal mastermind, Alfred Tonal. But Mr. A. Tonal is nowhere to be found and the show must go on! Judy suggests conducting with a piece of wet spaghetti. David suggests a rubber chicken. Nothing works. The only solution is to follow the clues and, with everybody’s help, get the magic baton back where it belongs! The Composer is Dead! Text by Lemony Snicket

Composer Nathaniel Stookey presents and narrates “The Composer is Dead!” - with original text by Lemony Snicket. “It’s a guide to the orchestra in the guise of a murder mystery,” Nathaniel says. “The narrator takes the role of the inspector who is investigating the murder of the composer. He interrogates all the sections of the orchestra as to why they would have wanted to off the composer. And they all have very good reasons.”

The Snowman

We bring back Raymond Briggs’ heart-warming holiday film. The Snowman, which brought the audience to its feet when we performed it with live music two seasons ago. One winter morning a little boy named James wakes up to find that everything outside has turned snow-white. Overjoyed, James rushes downstairs and into the garden, where he begins to build a snowman. James sleeps fitfully, and at midnight he wakes up and decides to check on his snowman. He opens the back door… he can’t believe his eyes… The snowman has come to life! CBC TV’s Janet Stewart narrates favorite tales of Aesop in Anthony Plog’s engaging settings.

The Magic Orchestra

Nerdy Mr. Kirby, from the National Institute of Children’s Entertainment (N.I.C.E.), doesn’t believe in the magical power of music. But when the conductor waves his magic baton, strange things begin to happen. Kids and adults alike will be delighted by Dan’s antics as he marvels in the timeless music of Grieg, Leroy Anderson, Strauss and others. A magical concert for kids, with comedy par excellence!

How the Gimquat Found Her Song

…the conclusion is one of bewitching beauty that leaves the audience teary-eyed.
—Saint John Times Globe

What is a bird if she has no song? It’s a cold winter day when Griffle the Great – the magical musical wizard – meets the sad and song-less Gimquat bird. Soon the two are off on a tumble through time in search of the missing music: an adventure that takes them from monasteries to Mozart and from rap to Ravel.
