Volunteers

WSO volunteers play a vital role in assisting with cost-saving measures and promoting the orchestra.

AREAS THAT NEED ASSISTANCE:

  • Office administrative support
  • Raffles for fundraising
  • Promoting the WSO at concerts and various locations throughout Winnipeg
  • Pre-concert activities at family concerts
  • International New Music Festival – airport pick-ups and concert assistance
  • Driving guest artists

BENEFITS OF VOLUNTEERING:

  • Gain valuable experience for resumes
  • Help ensure the on-going success of the WSO
  • Special invitations to attend certain concerts (based on availability and hours worked)
  • Annual volunteer appreciation night and BBQ
