The WSO Board of Directors is committed to stabilizing the orchestra through innovative planning, with focused implementation of these plans, which include enhanced programming, a stabilized administration, increased community outreach and fundraising.  A bequest to the orchestra helps ensure that the WSO will play on for many years to come, so that the high level artistic excellence we have come to enjoy will continue for the benefit of future concert goers.

Endowment Fund

Invest in the Winnipeg Symphony Orchestra with your planned gift to the WSO Endowment Fund. Managed by The Winnipeg Foundation since 1959, the fund has grown in value to just over $4,400,000.  Gifts to the WSO Endowment Fund ensure long-term financial support to the orchestra.

Your gift to the WSO may be:

• Targeted to support specific WSO programs or activities tailored to the interests of the donor
• Commission of new compositions
• Endowment of orchestra chairs to honour the memory of someone special
• Undesignated or anonymous
