What or who inspires you?
I am inspired every day by the world around me–by people I meet, the natural beauty of the landscape, the trees that change colour and shape every day, books and other works of art, to name just a few. Being able to wake up every morning, to breathe, and to live the life of an artist, fills me with gratitude and awe.

What is your favourite piece to play?
My favourite piece to play is anything by Beethoven! I have many good memories of playing his Symphonies with some wonderful conductors, including No. 7 with my dear friend and colleague Uri Mayer.
