Volunteer Opportunities
WSO volunteers play a vital role in assisting with cost-saving measures and promoting the orchestra.
AREAS THAT NEED ASSISTANCE:
- office administrative support
- raffles for fundraising
- promoting the WSO at concerts and various locations throughout Winnipeg
- pre-concert activities at family concerts
- International New Music Festival - airport pick-ups and concert assistance
- driving guest artists
BENEFITS OF VOLUNTEERING:
- gain valuable experience for resumes
- help ensure the on-going success of the WSO
- special invitations to attend certain concerts (based on availability and hours worked)
- annual volunteer appreciation night and BBQ
