Adventures in Music
Education Concert Series
Grades 4 – 6
The Adventures in Music program is the musical event of the year for more than 15,000 Manitoba students. As part of this exciting program, there are onstage opportunities for students and teachers to perform with the WSO through movement and song. Teachers receive a curriculum-based Study Guide that introduces the concert repertoire to students in the classroom and prepares them for a truly exciting experience.
In the 2013-14 season, join us for Raiders of the Lost Art as we take a journey through the art gallery of great music featuring excerpts from Mussorgsky’s Pictures at an Exhibition, Willams’s Raiders of the Lost Ark, Flight to Neverland and much more. You and your students are in for a treat with performances by various student groups, professional dancers, a live visual artist and the WSO!
