The Winnipeg Symphony Orchestra is committed to reaching audiences of all ages through our Education and Outreach programs. The WSO is the largest performing arts organization to offer music education outreach programs in the province of Manitoba. These programs are designed to make symphonic music exciting and accessible to all.

Each year the WSO…

• Connects with 300 schools through our education programs
• Presents more than 100 performances at community locations and schools across the province

• The WSO presents a Rising Stars Concert that highlights the talents of Manitoba’s high school performers.
• WSO musicians mentor young musicians from the University of Manitoba Symphony Orchestra.
• WSO musicians visit 12 healthcare centres each year with live music to promote healing and health.
