The annual garden tour showcases 12 city gardens, offering a variety of garden shapes and sizes, ranging from prairie standards and old-fashioned favourites to an exotic garden with a waterfall and lush plantings. Gardens are open for viewing from 10:00 am until 4:00 pm. Passports are $30.

Beautiful music paired with delicious food and wine are on the menu for the 2012 Music & Magic Garden Soirée. It will be held in three spectacular local gardens and will feature food and wine from local shops and restaurants as well as performances from members of the Winnipeg Symphony Orchestra.

WSO & RWB Fundraising Tour: Les Misérables

DECEMBER 8-11, 2011 in Minneapolis Thursday thru Sunday – 4 days / 3 nights

Dream the dream. Cameron Mackintosh presents a brand new 25th anniversary production of Boublil & Schönberg’s legendary musical, Les Misérables, with glorious new staging and dazzlingly reimagined scenery inspired by the paintings of Victor Hugo. Peking Acrobats Gala Dinner & Performance

On May 14, 2011, the Winnipeg Symphony Orchestra and the Winnipeg Chinese Cultural Centre are joining hands in a fundraising event.

As our guests, you will begin your unique evening at 5:30 pm with a celebratory 12-course authentic Chinese feast at Kum Koon Garden. This will be followed by the WSO performance with The Peking Acrobats at the Concert Hall. This concert will be the first time The Peking Acrobats perform with an orchestra in Canada. Considered to be one of the finest acrobatic troupes in China today, The Peking Acrobats have received acclaim from countries around the world. Don’t miss out on this exceptional experience.

This event is in support of the Endowment Funds for both organizations.
